Jay Mason
Chief Executive Officer and Founder
Mason established MyHealthDIRECT in 2005. As a serial entrepreneur, Jay has a passion for uncovering opportunities that are disruptive innovations and building wildly successful enterprises. He holds a graduate degree in non-profit management from Carroll University, and a business management bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin, La Crosse. Mason worked at CNA Insurance and Principal Financial before starting Professional Insurance Planners of America in 1986, where he achieved one of the top designations as a leading employee benefits agency in Wisconsin. In 1988, Jay launched National Employee Benefits, one of the first chiropractic benefit management firms in the country. Over the next eight years, Jay built NEB to an industry leader serving many managed care plans. Seeing a growing opportunity within complementary benefits, he sought out and led in the merger with American WholeHealth (AWH) in 1998. AWH became the leader in complementary and alternative benefits, with over 30,000 contracted providers and 20 million covered lives. As a venture backed company, investors received a 10x return when the company was sold in 2005. Jay served on the Board of Directors of Congo Initiative from 2006-2009. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of Concordia University of Wisconsin and on the Board of Directors of the Christian Stewardship Foundation.

Chief Financial Officer
Frank joined the MyHealthDIRECT team in July of 2010 as their Chief Financial Officer. Frank comes to the organization with 30 years of healthcare industry experience in start-up, mid-size and Fortune 100 companies. Prior to joining MyHealthDIRECT, Frank was the Chief Financial Officer of MedAssist Incorporated, a leading provider of revenue cycle management solutions to the healthcare provider market. He was instrumental in the 2007 sale of MedAssist to Firstsource Solutions Limited for $330 million in cash. Post sale, Frank was appointed to the North American CFO role for Firstsource. Mumbai-based Firstsource is among India’s leading business processing outsourcing companies providing business process management services to global leaders in the Banking, Financial, Telecom and Healthcare industries. Frank also spent 15 years at Baxter International Inc with various cross functional role responsibilities, including director level experience in Accounting / Finance, Marketing and Operations. Frank holds a Bachelor degree from DePaul University, Chicago Illinois and holds a CPA certificate from the state of Illinois.

Chief Information Officer
Scott has extensive experience in technology management, starting with a long-tenure with IBM. He has led effective application development efforts for multiple clients and has a strong track-record of finding cost-effective, reliable and simple solutions to complex business needs. Scott has responsibility for development and maintenance of the MyHealthDIRECT web-based application and ensuring that customer expectations for system performance are consistently met and exceeded. Scott received his BS in Computer Science from WCTI. He has certifications in Relational Database Design, Advanced Application Design, and Project Management.

Senior Vice President, Sales and Marketing
Zachary Fritz began his career at Pitney Bowes, prior to serving as the Branch Manager for Phoenix-Hudson Health Services, a provider of physical and occupational therapy services to hospitals and clinics. Zac served for four years as the Director of Marketing for a VHA-operated medical call center, and later served as the Vice President, Sales, for IntelliCare (now Sirona) during his years with that provider of medical call center software and services. Most recently, Zac led the hospital sales team at CPM Marketing Group Inc. for three years prior to serving as the Vice President, Healthcare Sales, for the HealthMedia division of Johnson & Johnson with responsibilities over the managed care, employer, and hospital markets. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree in History from DePauw University, and his MBA from the Kelley School of Business of Indiana University at IUPUI.

Senior Vice President, Client Services
As Senior Vice President of Client Services, Ken has senior level responsibility for enhancing relationships with existing My Health Direct clients and maximizing their strategic use of the My Health Direct platform. He has recently begun expanding the internal services organization to ensure that clients’ needs are being met and expectations exceeded through ongoing internal training, technical support, process improvement and new product identification. Ken’s diverse healthcare technology experiences include regional and national leadership roles with organizations like RelayHealth, Allscripts and OptimusEMR. His contributions have spanned across client management, operations, project management, sales, strategic planning and business development. Ken is an active member with organizations such as HIMSS, the Illinois Healthcare Association, the Medical Group Management Association, as well as several state Health Information Exchanges. Ken received his degree from Loyola University of Chicago.

Vice President, Healthcare Solutions
Having held key roles in the for-profit, not-for-profit, and government sectors, Tom has a nuanced understanding of the unique values and culture associated with each. In the governmental sector, Tom served as Senior Advisor to the Administrator of the Centers of Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). In the non-profit arena, Tom served as Director of Government Affairs for Aurora Health Care. Tom has also worked in the for-profit sector prior to working for MyHealthDIRECT. As Account Manager for Cenpatico Behavioral Health, part of Centene Corporation, Tom was responsible for successfully interfacing behavioral health services within the health plans. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business from the University of Wisconsin Madison.
