Key Account Sales Director, Managed Care

This position will have responsibility across the entire U.S. for developing revenue growth with a Top 10 health plan on behalf of My Health Direct. Will report to the National Director of Sales Management.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

Includes the following and other duties as assigned:

  • Design and execute a strategic sales plan for the Medicaid, Medicare Advantage, and Commercial market.
  • Close significant amounts of subscription license business with health plan.
  • Meet with and excite the CXOs, SVPs, EVPs, VPs, and Medical Directors at these plans.
  • Evaluate market trends and provide analysis and recommendations to management.
  • Develop and sustain strong, strategic client relationships with senior executives.
  • Work collaboratively with Account Representatives from Client Services to apprise them of developments and respond to their requests as appropriate
  • Other reasonable duties, as assigned

Qualifications

The successful applicant will have the following minimum qualifications:

  • Eight years proven background and success as a sales professional with experience related to the health plan market, and specifically must have experience with Top 10 largest plans.
  • Be a “Self Starter” and able to work from a home office
  • Must have strong presentation skills and consultative closing skills
  • Travel up to 35%-50%, with ability to travel to client locations as necessary
  • Experience with a rapidly growing startup organization or an intraprenurial department a plus
  • Outstanding written and verbal communications skills
  • Keen understanding of a complex solution sale
  • Knowledge of care and disease management, wellness, prevention, Quality (HEDIS; NCQA), etc.
  • Existing network of contacts at decision-maker level at Top 10 national health plans
  • Salesforce.com experience preferred
  • SaaS or ASP company experience preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree required; Masters preferred.

Compensation and Benefits

The expected start date for this position is February 2012. The position is national in scope and the candidate will ideally be located in Milwaukee, Chicago, or near a major hub airport. My Health Direct offers a top level salary, an excellent commission structure, and a benefits package.
